About the Course
This Teacher Training Course Programme is a combination of theory and hands on practicing of the important yoga elements. We will help students learn to analyze how to teach and practice the techniques learnt from how to structure your class as well as understanding student’s process of learning down to the business aspects of yoga teaching.
We offer our students the opportunity to learn to teach different styles of yoga. Self practitioners will appreciate the greater variety for their yogic routine. Future teachers will be able to offer a larger choice of classes when teaching professionally.
The programme will cater to the needs of those who are interested in
1. Learning about yoga,
2. Becoming a yoga teacher,
3. Deepening their self practice,
4. Elevating their knowledge in yoga philosophies or
5. Embracing/integrating a yogic element into their lifestyle.

17:00 to 19:00- Yoga Asana and Practicum
19:00 to 20:00- Dinner
20:00 to 21:30- Self study and extracurricular activities (1)

** Schedule is totaly depend on teachers. They are free to set their own schedule.
(1) Self Study and Extracurricular activities, students are encourage to engage in outdoor trips and social/ cultural activities such as Diwali, Festivals, Rafting, Town Visits, Satsang, Aarti and other rituals performed in Ashrams and around town. This will enhance their TTC and India experience.
-Asana, Pranayama (breathing techniques), Bandhas, Yogic cleansing techniques, introduction to chakras, nadis & mudras.
-Chanting, Mantra, Meditation.
-Teaching Methodology of different styles of Yoga: Hatha, Vinyasa Flow, Patanjali Ashtanga and Sivananda.
-Principles of demonstration, observation, assisting/correcting, instruction, teaching styles, qualities of a teacher, the student’s process of learning.
-Method, principle, sequencing, adjusting, benefits and cautions of Yoga postures.
-How to teach classes for beginners, intermediate and advanced levels yoga students.
-Ethics for Yoga Business aspects of teaching yoga.
-Anatomy and Physiology: Physical, mental and spiritual benefits of yoga Benefits, contraindications, healthy movement patterns of yoga practice
-Yoga philosophy (eight Limbs of Ashtanga-yoga) with Patanjali Yoga Sutra. Introduction to the Bhadwadgita and Sankya scriptures.
-Yogic life style (basic Ayurveda, nutrition and the yogic diet)

Accommodation & Food
Accommodation in single room with a attached bathroom/showe. The rooms are situated near the yogahall and each room has a double bed, a hot water shower, and a small wardrobe. Everything is in short walking distance.
Food is provided three time a day in form of tasty Indian vegetarian dishes.
There are lots of local cafes and restaurants to savour on your day off. Internet is widely available in wifi or computer based shops around.

Writing Materials and notebook, Warm Shawl for morning meditation,Alarm Clock, light socks, Sun block, Hat, Slippers, Comfortable loose cloths for yoga classes.

If you are successful in passing the teacher training, you will receive the Yoga Teacher Certificate Approved by Yoga Alliance International.

Our teaching hall is situated in the north of the main town, where the exquisite setting on the fast-flowing Ganges, surrounded by forested hills. In the evening, the breeze blows down the valley, setting temple bells ringing as sadhus (spiritual men), pilgrims and tourists prepare for the nightly ganga aarti ceremony (Candle-Light ceremony).
